Works great! The rug sticks to the pad and the pad sticks to the ground, and the thickness is just enough to make the rug feel more plush without becoming a tripping hazard. This photo is the rug and pad I purchased only had to trim pad to fit round rug which was useful cause I got to use it on some other rugs cut up pieces so I hold them in place and our floors are very cold so the pad was needed.
