I ordered this Deck Box to keep in my garden area for my gloves, garden tools etc. Having in the garden would allow me to keep all my most used tools right in the garden and save me multiple trips to the garage for needed supplies or tools. One concern was that it would not be water proof. That concern is no longer. We had a down pour the next day after I placed this 31 gallon deck box in my garden. I just checked this morning and it stayed completely dry inside. Perfect. This is a great size for my needs, doesn't take up a lot of room and placed in the corner of my garden is out of the way. Extremely disappointed in Wayfair and this product. I ordered two of these products in each of them showed up damaged. The first one had two corners completely crushed in and dented. The second one arrived with a 2 inch punctured hole, through the metal even, in the side of the unit. When I opened the door, the knob was missing from the temperature controls. Once I found the knob, I tried to put it on where it belonged however, I realized that the whole unit that runs the temperatures was actually broken and did not even fit in the compartment to attach the temperature knob too. We plugged their unit in to see if it would run and work. The unit turned on and ran however it made extremely high-pitched random noises and ran completely uneven with different varying up and down pitched sounds, obviously the cooling unit is not working properly.. Our rain barrels are uniquely designed with plastic fittings that match the rate of expansion and contraction of barrel plastic from season to season to avoid leakage. These rain barrels are repurposed from pre-used imported food barrels. There may be slight scratching or scuffs due to previous overseas transportation. Since our rain barrels are made of High-Density Polyethylene Plastic they can be left outdoors even in the winter months so there is no need to modify your downspouts in the Spring and Fall. The exact shape of the barrels may vary due to availability but the color and size remain true. Because these barrels were originally used to transport food, there may be residual food product odor. The residual odor will dissipate after a few full barrel filling cycles. The 50 Gal. Plastic Rain Barrel reinvents how you harvest rainwater. This 50-gallon Capri design is sturdy and one of the most eye-catching rain barrels on the market. The exterior is ornate with a premium, striated clay texture. With a deep-welled top, you can plant an array of floral arrangements or even a small herb or vegetable garden. The top also includes good ideas original, integrated overflow channel. This channel automatically diverts all overflow water to the front of the barrel and keeps your foundation from flooding. The large opening which can be used for downspouts is covered with a soft, fine mesh, plastic screen. This screen keeps out heavy debris and insects for your peace of mind. Also included with the barrel are the two, offset spigot locations. Now you can use a five-gallon bucket or hose simultaneously without issue. I like the look of the barrel. A bit rustic in surface texture, but elegant too, in the shapely design. I have not yet hooked it all up, I have to build the patio it's going to be on first, but I have high hopes for its use in the future. It solved the problem of how I was going to avoid stepping over a downspout to get to the patio. The barrel, suggested by a friend, was the perfect solution. I also feel very eco-forward having one.
