I found the same item on another (much more expensive) website before I found the exact same thing here at a substantially better price (kicking myself over that one). This lantern is just beautiful in both day and night environments, but especially at night, when the colors reflect on the surface the lantern is sitting on. The solar bulb is bright, allowing for the beautiful reflective design. The thickness of the glass is substantial -- it doesn't feel like it will break easily. These are beautiful canvas prints. One word of caution: the dimensions given in the description do not include the frame. I was surprised at how large the finished picture is. When I remeasured, I noticed the dimensions are for the canvas only. The frame adds another 2 1/2 inches. Also the frame is plastic. It is pretty, and has a leather look to it. But it is plastic.
