The description said that the legs would adjust to 32 3/4", but they would only properly adjust to the sink bottom being only a maximum of 30 1/2" from the floor. The sink that I used them on, was 31" from the floor, so the escutcheon needed to go farther than the chromed legs until it was only covering the top adapter. Attachment and removal of the leg are easy. The leg is simply turned to the right to install and to the left to remove. This wooden leg is finished in a luxurious black finish.
