Reed fences are inexpensive bamboo-like coverings for existing fences, walls, or screens. Reed fences are commonly used to cover chain link fences, deck railings, and more. Our exclusively designed reed fencing is a wonderful and natural addition to your home and garden. We use only clean polished reeds woven together with black nylon-coated wires that match perfectly with the color tone of the fence. Most other reed fences on the market are made with non-polished reed with husk. This fence is NOT opaque. You would need to double or triple it for total coverage. It is very light and thin but makes a great covering or accent for your home.

Rustic split bamboo slat fences have been used for centuries in many regions of the world where bamboo is available. The fence is semi-opaque, which provides some privacy. The unique color of the bamboo slats makes it one of the most gorgeous and striking, looking bamboo fences on the market today. The bamboo slats we use are about 1/2" wide. They are packed in a roll for convenience in shipping and setting up. Each piece will vary in size based on the diameter range given. We cannot guarantee a specific diameter of pole. 1 pole per package. Color and appearance will vary due to the natural material used. Poles may have black spots, scratches, dings and other markings. These are natural and cannot be removed. Splits and cracks should not affect the durability of the bamboo as long as they do not go all the way through. Make sure any holes are pre-drilled prior to using screws etc.

This is the third of this type umbrella I have purchased. I love them but they last only about 2 years. The thatch part is like a plastic material and it will disintegrate in the hot sun. Im in Texas so the sun gets scorching here. I’m aware that the thatch won’t last indefinitely and aware that I will need to replace my umbrella every few years but I love the look and the cost of a new umbrella is very reasonable so I will continue to order a replacement when this one needs to be replaced. .. This product is made for custom frames. This product is used for commercial industries and markets in resorts, restaurants, and stores. Also, used by individuals and homeowners or themed into convention & trade show booths, or point of purchase merchandise sales displays. These covers are easily tossed over your existing frames and can be held down with zip ties, wires, or heavy-duty staples. These are not 100% waterproof and can be installed on a solid roof, or using two layers with roofing paper in between. The lifespan of any palm thatch varies depending on the environment.

I am extremely happy with this purchase. I bought this as a replacement for my Paradise Grills Tiki Bar because after 3 years, it was time for a new one. The Paradise Grills top is about 200 lbs and needs several people to install it, plus the price point is at least 5x the cost of this one, so I decided to give this one a try — and I am very happy that I did. The quality is really great and only 54 lbs so I was able to get my husband to put it on top and I was able to roll it out myself. The look of this one is very authentic and it makes my tiki bar look more rustic, which I prefer over the synthetic top I had before.
