Overall, I’m very pleased with the shelves. I ordered four and placed them side by side against a really long wall. The quality of construction and appearance is very good—not that of a really high end bookcase, but then I didn’t pay a really high end price. The reasons for 4 stars instead of 5: The shelves come fully assembled, except for the shelves. I love that you can adjust the shelves. However, to keep them in place during shipping, they are secured by small chunks of wood nailed into the sides of the shelves. Most of these pulled off easily, but a couple required some serious tugging and left scratches on the sides of the shelves. These aren’t noticeable once the shelves are filled, but they’re still there. The other issue is that I had Wayfair contact the manufacturer to ask if the units would fit flush if placed together and was assured that they would. Well, the fit isn’t bad, but it’s not completely flush. (I’ve enclosed photos.) All things considered, I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend these shelves.. Sandra. Westlake, OH.
