So I bought all three versions of the air balloon, solar lantern, this being the rainbow version. I believe this is a much newer model than the other ones as it has a light that goes down into the basket as opposed to the other ones. This one also came in more modern Styrofoam that doesn’t fall apart with little pieces of it all over your house static electricity stuck to your walls forever. These appear to be nicely made, and I think it will last at least one season or maybe two. It’s raining so I haven’t got to put them out yet, but I’m very excited to see them at night time.. Jeffrey. Nothing compares to the soft light and rustic charm of a kerosene lantern. There is a reason that this product endures; it works! Our lantern is durable and simple, with a large glass globe and a fully adjustable wick.

I tried Keosene with bad results. The flame would not maintain a constant level. I switched to lamp oil and it's run like a champ ever since.
