I replaced another sink that I had that was just too tall and was difficult to wash my face so I wanted something that recessed a little but still sat above the sink and this fit both of those criteria. But it gave me an opportunity to get creative with the tile because I had to redo four tile and instead of using the yellow tile I used the pattern tile that I also had used on the backsplash and I think it really made it look snazzy. Really awesome shower door. Instructions are really hard and there is no explanation of what you’re supposed to do. It was hard to know which side you were supposed to do. What too so it was just through a lot of trial and error. My husband was able to figure it all out, but it did take a couple hours for him to get it assembled and installed, but it looks awesome .. Wax Ring Was Terrible The included wax ring was low quality — it crumbled and failed to form a proper seal. I had to replace it with a better aftermarket wax ring to stop slow leaks and reduce odors. This added time and cost to the install that shouldn’t be necessary. Buy a high-quality wax ring with a rubber gasket or flange before installation — it’s almost essential with this toilet. One major let-down was the toilet seat lid It’s made of thin plastic that doesn’t feel sturdy. It flexes too much and doesn’t give a sense of durability. Compared to higher-end soft-close seats, this feels like the weakest part of the whole toilet. Side Screw Covers Do Not Fit This was one of the most frustrating parts The side covers that are supposed to hide the mounting screws do not fit. They won’t snap on or screw on properly. As a result, the mounting screws are fully visible, which ruins the clean, finished look the toilet is supposed to have This feels like a design or manufacturing defect, not user error.. Kim.
