I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. Easy to install, product is intuitive, and lighting on knobs/under unit are awesome. One element that is lacking is the back hi g design. This unit is designed to be built in, and as such costs 4x what a normal Blackstone unit does. The hinge configuration creates a gap on the back edge which is not an ideal transition to your top. Back hinge placement also causes the front of the lid to wobble a bit when opening and closing. Small detail but big one when building a high end outdoor kitchen. One of the biggest selling points for me was the versatility. It’s set up for LPG, but I wanted to hook it up to my home’s gas line. I just bought the Natural Gas conversion kit from the same store, and it made the switch super easy. The cooking surface is massive (871 sq. in. is no joke), and the heat distribution is very even.
