Not so loud you can’t talk when it’s on high. Moves a hell of a lot of air and the lights are something like 4000k bright white and make up for the shadow this big boy creates. You can also point the lights which is a nice touch. Just know this unit DORS NOT have a remote blower like z-line’s website says but is vague about. I was real disappointed but in too much of a hurry to return it. That said it’s not terrible in noise level. The assembly can be tricky but we found that if you attach only one side of the seat, add the support bar and then attach the other side of the seat it’s much easier. The instructions tell you to attach the seat (both sides) and the put the bar in but we could not get it in there so this was our solution.
