This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. I received excellent service from all Wayfair associates, However, I had lots of communication problems with the delivery. The installer came with the incorrect power cord, even though I had communicated before delivery that a 3 prong power cord was required & not a 4 prong per photo on order. Therefore, install was not done. My daughter and I spent quite sometime on the telephone with both Wayfair and GE to resolve this issue. Range was delivered on April 13th, 2026. Install was completed on April 20th, 2026. However, the installer was very pleasant and professional.
