We LOVE this thing! Best upgrade ever. We purchased a sufficiently rated countdown timer switch with intervals that seemed appropriate for a bathroom heater (Leviton DT102 15-30-1h-2h) and have been enjoying this heated mirror so much. A brief ON will defog the mirror, while 15 minutes ON (switching on a bit before getting into the shower) is long enough for it to heat up fully and make a huge difference when stepping OUT of the shower. 30mins is great for getting ready on a very cold morning. The mirror optics seem very clear and high quality. We did not do the installation ourselves, as it was put in during a whole house rewire the electricians opted to put in a recessed outlet box behind the mirror and just plug it in there, rather than hard wiring it. This will preserve flexibility going forward. Because it was going in a very particular place, and we have plaster rather than drywall, they opted to install cross pieces of plywood secured to the wall, and mounted the mirror to the wood strips. It’s very secure-feeling. My one negative point is the thing gets so warm that it’s not comfortable to lean my face close (bad eyesight) for putting on make-up. This is something that might require finessing your timing if it was your only mirror, or setting up a small well-lit mirror in another location. This is an elegant looking toilet and has a more modern design; we had it installed in our guest bathroom and I think it makes a beautiful addition to the bathroom. It is made of porcelain so it is sturdier than the ceramic ones. I am yet to figure out how not to make it flush if I accidentally have the lid opening from just walking by - this is just me not having read the manual though... the flush function is nice and I love all the features (I am yet to test the warming function and the bidet - will update the review after doing so). I also have a pro version of this toilet (it has a manual non electric flush option in case the power goes out and it has a built in tank) and that is very nice as well. We just had this toilet installed and it is absolutely beautiful and very elegant looking. I had looked at a lot of different ones and liked this sleek and modern design the best. I also love that it is made of Porcelain (harder and stronger) and not ceramic. The plumber found it pretty easy to install and it came with everything needed. The seat is comfortable; the open and close mechanism is smooth. I love the touch button at the bottom, makes it unnecessary to touch the lids. The flush is very quiet and I LOVE that. The toilet is water resistant and that should it a lot easier to clean without worrying about shorting the electrics of it. It does say that it is antimicrobial, but, I do not see a UV light for disinfecting so there is no way to be sure. I like that it has a manual flush option, so it can be used even if the power goes out… I am yet to try the bidet and warming functions (Will update review after I have done so).. Arpita.
