I bought this to match the end tables that I bought last year. I loved the style and an extra bonus for me is that the iRobot can fit underneath it so I don't have to vacuum under it. The previous sofa table that I had also had a bottom shelf, and I kept some things on it that I would prefer to have hidden from sight (binoculars, doggie paw wipes, cover for sofa) since I wanted those things near our back door (where the sofa table sits.) Now I keep those things in the drawer so that they are out of sight, but still readily available for use. It was easy to put together. My husband and I are in our 70s, but we were able to put it together in just about 1.5 to 2 hours. This piece of furniture is great! It looks even better than picture. It’s a beautiful walnut color. One of my best Wayfair purchases. It will be used in the hallway so I wasn’t too worried about durability, but it feels much more sturdy than I anticipated. It took me a couple hours to assemble and I only used the tools provided.. Quality item. I'm using it as a nightstand actually. I would have given it five stars however fedex botched delivery once again and I got it very late. I've ordered so many things from wayfair, and if it's anywhere near a weekend delivery they refuse to admit that they didn't even try to deliver it on the weekend even though they said they couldn't get in my apartment and I wasn't home which was dishonest. This table fits perfectly into the small space (both depth and width) in my kitchen eating area. The marble top has a pretty mixture of whites, creams, grays and browns, as you can see for yourself in the photos. I'm very happy with this purchase. This is a really pretty table. It looks like aged raw wood. You should note that there is quite a bit of washed out white and very pale blue/grey paint rubs on it. It's not all one color. As such, it's probably not suitable in a formal atmosphere. It's more of a worn farm table. Beautifully made and very sturdy. It was hard to find a console table with this narrow depth.
