Arrived two days ago. I paid to have it dropped directly onto my concrete pad. Got electrical hooked up yesterday, filled it up last night, got in it this morning. The good stuff: It looks good, should be very reliable given how simple it is, and was a great price. The not-so-good stuff: They sent me the wrong color, the ozonator was broken upon arrival, the drain connection is tucked back under the tub and has no shutoff valve, the jets control is just one button but still manages to be confusing. But, at the end of the day, I just want some hot water, with jets, and not have it die every six months. So, I'm mostly a happy customer. Update: Just a heads-up, exactly where the cover lift arm attaches, there's a vertical strap in the way (see my photo). We are SO happy with this tub! The seating arrangement is perfect, with no “lounger” to limit options. Setup was a breeze for our electrician- he was very pleased with the accessibility of the electrical components. The jets are amazing, the cover fits nice and snug, and everything works exactly as we had hoped. The tub arrived in perfect condition, the shippers were pleasant, and it arrived right on schedule. Overall, it’s been an absolutely perfect experience, and my only regret is being unable to give it six stars. Update Almost 2 12 years in, we still love this tub! It takes several days to bring the hot tub up to temperature when refilling. I think this may be comfortable for 5 people, but I have no idea how you fit 7 adults in this hot tub. We shopped around for sometime and were leaning towards buying a spa from a local dealer when the wife discovered this unit. I was more than a little skeptical at first but after reading reviews and doing research we pulled the trigger. The spa arrived in less than a week and we couldn’t be happier. Love it!!! I paid $1500 to a general contractor to assemble it, took 7 hours and I paid $3500 to an electrician to run 220V to the back yard which took 6 hours. Still more than half the cost of the lowest price given at a local store here in San Diego. Great quality, gets as hot as advertised in about 15 minutes, but San Diego is never cold, so starting temp is always around 70 degrees. The Smartmak sauna I do NOT recommend. The poorly written assembly manual with parts not identified was inadequate. The process of assembly was very poor with no clear photos of the sauna we purchased. I also received many email phishing attempts right after contacting the Smartmak company customer help which was not very good. Wayfair company however I do recommend and will buy again from them.. Steps are ok for many uses. Putting them together was a bit tricky. The worst part was the tallest step to put together. Had to use a small flat screwdriver to pry open the metal to allow the step to go in place. Overall, it was not too bad to finish. Now the Part for me that is "Deceiving" is the description. To me "ROLLING" means they have castors/wheels. Nope none to be found. I had initially got these with the intent of rolling it around to paint & do other household chores. So for now dragging it on a moving blanket is my only answer, unless my husband is willing to drill holes in the legs somehow & put on wheels. Wish they had used a different description.. Cheryl. We love our hot tub! We purchased it at a wonderful price when it went on sale. It took 8 weeks to get it but it was worth the wait. We filled it and at the time the temperature was 57 degrees it took 6 hours to reach 102. We live in Michigan and it’s fall temperature around 60. The jets are wonderful and I love the different color lights. We got the mahogany with mahogany top. I love all the different setting options and find it extremely comfortable.
