These lights were perfect for the space. One for an under cabinet open space I use to keep bread, etc. the other was on top of a very large cabinet that absorbed light especially at night. I dimmed it and put it on an automatic push button switch to make the room have a gentle light in a dark area. We got the one from kichner it was a dimmer with the transformer built in and when this thing is dimmed all the way down, it's still pretty bright. meaning when i turn them up they light up my counters perfectly. my one worry is i don't know how long they will last and if i should keep a spare around. i hope they last as long as led lights are supposed to. but 1 week in, i'm thrilled..
