I made quite a few modifications to make this coop more useful. I used strong magnets across the top so we could reach into the run. We added stair tread to the roost ramp so our ladies didn’t slip around anymore. I’d planned to use a solar door opener to let the gals in and out, but I was one day over the 30 day return window and Wayfair wouldn’t let me return it even for store credit. It didn’t fit despite the online specifications saying it would.. Ashley. US. Tue Aug 11 2026

Great starter chicken coop ! Easy instructions 2 people roughly an hour to put together. We decided not to attach the run to the coop as we attached it to our larger chicken run. Only negative is the latch for the resting box legs is a little on the cheap side so we replaced it with something a little more durable.. Miles. US. Wed Aug 12 2026

Okay! SO- first time chicken owner here. We live in Maryland and are raising chicks and ducks from babies. We live in the woods and therefore have a ton of natural predators. The coop on its own is not SUPER sturdy, but not the worst quality I have seen and works well for a yard that slopes. There are some gaps, so we enclosed the top and bottom with hardware mesh stapled into the wood and secured with cement blocks just to be sure everything would be safe, and so far so good! The cover seems like it will be reasonable for the raincolder temps. Used Wayfair assembly service, which was good but it did take 3 men four hours to assemble just FYI. Overall, happy!. Anonymous. It includes two large egg-laying boxes, each divisible into three separate compartments. Four perches are installed inside the coop to provide ample roosting space for hens. A large removable sliding tray facilitates easy cleaning.

This coop is super cute!!! However it seems to be pretty low quality. The wood is very soft and several of my pieces arrived already split. I would never put 8-10 full size chickens in this, maybe 8-10 bantam size. I’m thinking it will only last a year or two. I just got it to put my baby chicks in so it will work for now.. Anonymous. It works and definitely has many positive aspects. Some of the wood is a little thinner than I'd like, but it seems to be holding solidly. The hen nests are great, and very easily accessed. So far I only have one grown hen in it, and she seems to really like it. I plan to add more. I think four will fit nicely, but five may be a little too crowded. I'm a 76 year old female, and I put it together alone. It did take a while, but was not too bad. :). Clarissa. Butler, GA. Sat Oct 03 2026

Shipping was on time, we love our chicken coop, I feel it fits 4 chickens comfortably. It did take quite awhile to put together although it was only one person. Took about all day. Decent quality only bad thing is the wheels are very small and don’t do great on our bumpy ground. But it’s very cute and we love it!. Anonymous. Sun Sep 06 2026

This large wooden chicken coop (68''L×31''W×53''H) holds 6–8 adult chickens with split roosts and four nesting boxes. Built with rot-proof timber and tight metal mesh plus lockable latches, it wards off predators. Thoughtful touches including egg access hatches, sloped waterproof roofs and ventilated sunlit windows boost usability. It suits backyard and small farm use with easy beginner assembly, and note the item arrives in two separate shipments.

This coop is the cutest! It’s nice and big for the girls but still cozy. I have actually put together one of these before and this one was by far the easiest. The pieces fit tightly and the instructions were sufficient. This piece is lightweight but still sturdy. It arrived on time and I would definitely purchase it again. 1010 from me!. Jessica Hasman.
