This firm hybrid mattress delivers balanced support through a combination of responsive coils and cushioning foam layers. Designed with a firm feel, it provides a stable sleep surface that helps promote proper alignment while minimizing excessive sink. The hybrid construction pairs the contouring comfort of foam with the durability and support of an innerspring core, creating a sleep experience that feels both supportive and comfortable. A breathable design encourages airflow throughout the mattress for added comfort. Plus, the hybrid construction combines pressure-relieving comfort with dependable support.

Great quality mattress, giving it four stars only because, while the title indicates firm, the description on the sight rates it right in the middle of plush and firm-exactly at medium, which is what I wanted. I was able to buy a topper and I actually love that I have the firm support for my lower back and a little squish on top for comfort. The mattress is very well made, no sagging off the side of the bed when sitting, it didn’t have much of a smell when unboxing, fully “inflated” and aired out for a few days as instructed before easily plopping it onto the Wayfair foundation I bought to match!. Experience proven, all-night cooling with the all-new TEMPUR-ProBreeze® mattress. Featuring specialized cool-to-the-touch covers that work with our exclusive Pure Cool® Material to help pull heat away from your body so you stay cooler—all night long.

The mattress is comfortable and supportive, but it is advertised as felling 5 deg cooler which I do not notice. The price difference between mine and the next lower was 1000k. Not sure it was worth it. Maybe it is because it is a hybrid and my last one was an inner spring mattress. Either way I was hoping the cooling aspect would have been more noticeable.. OUR FIRMEST MATTRESS FOR MAXIMUM SUPPORT: This is the firmest mattress we’ve ever made. Two layers of 14-gauge coils—far stronger and more durable than those of other brands—combined with high-density natural materials, provide a solid, stable sleep surface that resists sagging and delivers ergonomic alignment, even under heavier weights. Because more coils mean more support, it proudly features up to 2,112 individually wrapped coils, which also improves responsiveness and pressure distribution. While the feel softens slightly for the heaviest sleepers, it remains definitively firm (10 out of 10) for lasting support for back and stomach sleepers. Side sleepers can add an Organic Mattress Topper for added contouring and cushioning.

The Tempur-Pedic® TEMPUR-Adapt® Medium 11" Mattress is part of the TEMPUR-Adapt® series, featuring the latest advancements in the one-of-a-kind, infinitely adaptable, and body-conforming TEMPUR-Material™. *photo to come* Wow! I can not believe this was a bed in a box! This was my first time getting a hybrid bed in a box (I’ve always just thought of memory foam in a box) so I was skeptical, but once fully expanded, I can’t believe believe it. The last pillow top plus mattress I got was way over priced, but was comfy so I always would justify to myself the price was worth it. After seeing what I can get from wayfair for a quarter of the price and double to comfort, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to buying from a big box store. The bed is firm, but still bouncy bc of the coils and super layered making it extra comfy. I am a stomach and back sleeper and have not had any issues and even my husband loves it! So it’s a win win!. Gina. Minnesota. Fri Aug 07 2026

Mattress in a box with premium gel foam+bamboo memory foam, fiberglass-free, 2 sides design cover, and medium firm to extra firm for back pain, low motion transfer. Experience the luxury of high-quality mattresses, and enjoy a deep and restful sleep experience.

The mattress is comfortable enough and popped up to full-size within 24 hours. Unfortunately, that full-size is closer to 6 1/2 than the actual 8 inches that I ordered. I’m used to it on Grindr, but kind of disappointed with Wayfair. I ordered that size in particular because it would fill the gap on my new mattress frame and headboard that I also just bought so now I have an empty 2 inches that I have to stuff with pillows or buy a new extra large, extra firm bolster..
