I really like this Standing Boxwood plant and can find many locations in my house to display it. However the leaf ball is darker than I anticipated. Based on the picture, I was expecting more variation in leaf color, but the leaf ball is solid dark green. At the same time I purchased this, I ordered 20” preserved boxwood topiary from another source and those leaf balls are also solid dark green - so this may be just the color of all preserved boxwood.. The color tones look very natural, the blades have a realistic shape, and the feathery tops give it that extra touch that makes it stand out without looking fake or overdone. The quality surprised me right away. It feels sturdy, holds its shape nicely, and does not look cheap like some artificial plants tend to. The fullness of the plant also makes a big difference since it does not look sparse or thin, it actually fills the space and gives that lively look you want in a room. We placed it in a spot where real plants would normally struggle with lighting, and it solved that problem instantly while still keeping the same aesthetic. Oh my gosh, I love this plant so much. It looks gorgeous. It feels like straw, but I mean it doesn’t detract from the beauty or overall look of the fake grass. I liked it so much in fact that I bought four more- 2 in each of the sizes. I highly recommend this plant. What I love also about it is that it’s takes up a small footprint, so would work well in smaller spaces as well as larger ones.
