Very nice finish and overall quality. As others have noted, it would have been nice if several of the bolts on the headboard had been counter sunk and wooden pegs provided to cover up the bolt heads. Assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. You really need an electric drill to drive the screws that fasten the slats. Slats had spacing tape which really helped. Major complaint — I had difficulty attaching one rail on each of the two twin beds I assembled. Price & quality as expected. Found the style I wanted at a reasonable price. I needed a bed without footboard for a growing grandson! I liked the fast and free shipping. Several pages of assembly instructions were listed online which I printed out. All instruction sheets were also included but one -which I had already printed. Assembly was quite involved, but grateful my son gave 2 hours of his day off to help me out. The only thing I’m not pleased with are the center supports attached to the slats, which show underneath when looking from the side, unless you have a long bedspread. We had a problem with one piece being broken but Wayfair and the maker of the bed sent a replacement. We only waited a few days. The bed is very nice. My only problem with the bed is that it says to buy a 8” or 12” mattress for the trundle. We purchased the 8” and we are unable to push the trundle back under the bed. Its actually pretty nice! I put it all together myself and it wasnt bad. A lot of build-your-own furniture is difficult and the holes dont always line up right. But this was easy to put together! It took me maybe 30 minutes on my own. My only issue was the delivery, it was like three days later then the original delivery date. I think Wayfair primarily uses FedEx, and they kept marking my packages undeliverable which isnt true. This is nothing against Wayfair at all, but just keep in mind that delivery may not be reliable. The bed is great! The only thing that was frustrating was that it was advertised as the lowest price and had a 24 hour window to get the offer so I took it.
