Very nice finish and overall quality. As others have noted, it would have been nice if several of the bolts on the headboard had been counter sunk and wooden pegs provided to cover up the bolt heads. Assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. You really need an electric drill to drive the screws that fasten the slats. Slats had spacing tape which really helped. Major complaint — I had difficulty attaching one rail on each of the two twin beds I assembled. Price & quality as expected. Found the style I wanted at a reasonable price. I needed a bed without footboard for a growing grandson! I liked the fast and free shipping. Several pages of assembly instructions were listed online which I printed out. All instruction sheets were also included but one -which I had already printed. Assembly was quite involved, but grateful my son gave 2 hours of his day off to help me out. The only thing I’m not pleased with are the center supports attached to the slats, which show underneath when looking from the side, unless you have a long bedspread. The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill. I’ve had this queen size bed for about four years now, and overall, I would give it a solid 910. I’m currently upgrading to a newer bed, but I wanted to leave a review based on my experience with this one over the years. I originally purchased this bed while waiting for my husband to come home from deployment, and I was able to put it together in about an hour and a half. The instructions were okay. There were a few parts where I had to use common sense to figure things out, but overall, assembly wasn’t too difficult. The bed looked pretty much exactly as described when I received it. Over time, the wood does begin to fade a little, and the finish can lose some of its original appearance. I would regularly dust it and use a basic multipurpose cleaner to keep it clean and remove any dirt or dust buildup. One thing I did notice over the years is that some of the nails and screws can become loose. We would have to go back and tighten everything every year or two, but it was never anything major or difficult to fix. Overall, I think this bed held up really well for the price and the amount of time I’ve had it. The quality is pretty much what you would expect for what you pay, but it has definitely served its purpose and lasted me several years. Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. The bed is great! The only thing that was frustrating was that it was advertised as the lowest price and had a 24 hour window to get the offer so I took it. I do love the bed. One suggestion: I tried to get the shipping date changed before I even placed the order. You cannot change it online.
