This rug has a very classic design and is very soft. It does show splotches of greybrown appearing in different areas, but I discovered it is the lay of the pile in the rug. Brushed one way, it is white and the opposite way, it shows up as what I thought were stains in this rug. It probably should be vacuumed daily, and it will likely wear for a long time. It is a bit thicker than what I had expected. It arrived rolled up covered in plastic wrap and laid flat with no bunching or creases. I do like it and the outer edging is well made.. Sharon. I purchased this rug for my personal office space- it looked very plus and good on the feet. To my surprise, it is in fact comfy, and a decent size for my desk space. Setup was straightforward, just had to cut the plastic wrap and unravel. For the price, I cant complain, the color is great, and adds some character to the room. The only issue I experienced is that since my desk area is somewhat big and by having a rolling chair, sometimes I fall out of the rug area and the wheel can pull up the rug when trying to get back without lofting. I was looking for a rug just inside my office deck door that would be comfortable under bare feet, dog friendly, and stay fairly low profile. This one ended up being exactly what I was hoping for. LOOOOOOVE! This rug is amazing. It’s super soft and comfy to sit on. We have a toddler so we’re on the ground a lot and this rug has made it easier for play time. We didn’t add a rug pad, and I don’t think it needs one. I was worried that the Ivory would be too bright of a white or too creamy of a yellow and it’s neither. It’s just right for our home. Paired next to a grey couch and dark wood coffee table so help you see better. It didn’t shed at all and laid flat pretty quickly. definitely has a new rug smell but it’s more of just a plasticy smell and it wore off within about 3 days. My family didn’t notice the smell but I have a sharper sense of smell so just for reference. It’s handled stains really well (with Folex, if you don’t have it - get it). Chocolate ice cream has been spilled and red marker and both came up and is unnoticeable surprisingly. It vacuums fine, but use your high carpet setting or low on a Dyson (not boost). Beautiful rug and super thick! I got the 9 x 12 rug and it SHEDS! I read that in reviews, but I guess I didn’t understand the grasp of what that meant, I vacuumed this rug four times and still could vacuum more lol. The carpet fibers also stuck to my brand new vacuum so that was fun cutting out! For the price of the rug, I would expect less shedding. It is a great rug though, and it does not need a rug pad whatsoever because of how thick it is and it vacuums great. Just sheds a lot at first (hopefully!). Also, it measured 4 inches short of being 12 foot so Wayfair gave me a 25 discount which was great! Highly recommend using their customer service if your rug measurements are off.. Anonymous.
