This frame came assembled but without instructions on how to attach art. There were some screw holes but they weren’t drilled all the way through and the frame is plastic. I used Velcro strips to attach my canvas to the frame, and for my purposes it worked and looks sharp. I like the deeper frame that makes the artwork look more professional and polished when hung. This is a great picture frame. It can be used as an 11 by 17 with a mat or as a 24 by 30 poster frame. It came well pacakaged with protective screen cover on both sides of the plexy glass. It is a sturdy black metal frames with lots of clips to hold the backing into place. It arrived packed very well to prevent damage in transit. The size I ordered is large so glass wasn't an option (wish it was) but the plexiglass came with a covering on each side to keep it safe. The frame itself is very lightweight. You have to install the mounting hardware (easy) but I wish it came with enough to let the frame hang either way instead of only have 1 option. I’m really happy with this frame! I had a poster that was a bit of an odd size, and this was one of the few options that came close. I did have to trim the poster slightly to get a perfect fit, but it worked out great and was absolutely worth it. The thin border gives it a clean, modern look, and the plexiglass keeps it lightweight while still looking polished on the wall. It displays nicely in my home office, especially on a larger wall where I wanted something that would stand out without feeling bulky.
