I owe the 4-star to my not researching this thoroughly. at my old house I could pull out the center knob for water and adjust the flow pressure. This one doesn't do that; it just turns from hot to cold with one pressure. It's a great product, but there was much more control with the other one. Still, I recommend it. It was the correct part, however it was difficult to find the correct part number. My Kohler plumbed house is 40 years old with 4 baths and 1 half bath. When I previously needed parts Kohler had faucets, toilets, etc. listed by era which made it much easier to find the correct part number.
