Appears to be relatively heavy-duty and well made. It is certainly long enough to serve as we expected for our old fat beagle to use to get up into my truck, on the couch and possibly onto the bed again. Rocky has arthritis in his hips and we do a lot of lifting of his aft end to get him up the back steps, into the truck and onto the couch. The ramp is long enough to make the grade favorable and not so steep he cannot negotiate most "climbs" as needed. The ramp is very compact when collapsed, yet quite strong when extended for use. Just arrived. It requires no assembly and appears to be sturdy, as advertised. ONE IMPORTANT COMMENT. The description of the stairs on the website says, "Foldable." That is what I wanted. The outside of the box clearly indicated "Non-foldable." I was about to return it, but decided to open it anyway. Surprise! It is the foldable type! Even the instructions inside say "Non-foldable.".
