Unfortunately, the camera picture does not capture the "true" colors of this rug. The texture is not plush due to the tufted style but still feels nice. It is well made and thick. We ordered a pad to go with it and that added to the cushion feel under your feet, we recommend to pair it with a pad we went with 1/2 inch. We love the look and are very happy with our purchase. The only complaint we have is the way the rug was packaged. It was not rolled up but instead folded over a few times and this created a problem with creating "lumps" it was hard getting the rug to lay down properly.
