We’ll see how they hold up to sun the rest of summer. They do have that “made in China smell” but I’m sure that will dissipate quickly since they are outside. I am ordering more because I underestimated my area but even with what we have so far, it makes the back patio look so much better! You can barely tell that they are plastic even next to a wood tile. They are very easy to install! They go together like a puzzle and click into place. I couldn't believe how easy and fast we put them down. It took less than half an hour to put down the 44 pieces and makes the entire area look completely different! So far, they have made it through several rain storms and have not moved. They sit in place without shifting or breaking. We have put our deck chairs on them, and they are really great. I would definitely recommend these, especially if you are looking for a simple way to change the look of your patio. Also, if for some reason one of them gets ruined, it is like working with carpet tiles. You just take that one out and replace with a new one. These are an inexpensive solution to a very expensive problem. The prior owners of my house painted the deck boards with indoor latest paint. As you can see, it didn’t last very long.
