I bought this quilt set for my master bedroom because I wanted something simple, functional, and beautiful. I really like how lightweight it is, and the fact that it’s reversible gives me a couple of different options without having to buy another set. It did have a pretty strong plastic or manufacturing smell when I first opened it, but thankfully that disappeared completely after one wash. My only real disappointment is that the colors aren’t quite as vibrant in person as they look in the photos. Exactly what I was looking for. After going through a number of familiar stores looking for a French quilt and not finding really any. The Chezmoi collection had a few I really liked. The colors are great some vivid some faded. The stitching is neat and beautiful. I bought the King for my Queen bed because I like it to reach closer to the floor. Really love this quilt. The colors were a bit darker than I expected with a lot of red but very pretty and great for the price. It is very lightweight which I like but if you are expecting a heavy quilt you may be disappointed. The batting is very thin. I have not washed it but the stitching is very close together which should keep the batting from shifting. This is FANTASTIC! My husband is very particular about having a quilt that is large enough for a king or California king.
