they are sturdy once you have the dirt in them, but seem a bit flimsy when empty. Be careful filling them, as I had my neighbor help me fill with his john deer and we had to go very slowly and level the dirt in layers so it didnt warp the shape. There were a few instances in the instructions where additional steps or diagrams couldve helped, but overall, it is an easy build for one person in about an hour.
