We placed this smart wall washer light outside in our back yard to compliment our solar pathway lighting as it is very dark there. We needed additional lighting to brighten areas where potential "critters" might gather such as: skunks, racoons, cats, deer, fox, and the dreaded coyote. This is all in an attempt to keep our mini labradoodles safe. As you can see in the pictures it gets the job done. It is a good / solid quality product. I could have used two!. Alvera. Have not installed them yet but do like the design of these lights. They trim around the light is crisp white. There is a small gasket that will help make sure the light is sealed so no air gap. The light is thin and the springs on the side seem heavy duty. The junction box itself is metal not plastic like some others. They state they are insulation safe which is for a remodeling. Will use above kitchen peninsula where we have track lighting. Also came with template for cutting out whole.. Jennifer. Fayetteville, TN. Fri Aug 07 2026
