The colors in this rug are gorgeous and the pile height is perfect. I gave it a 4 because there are a few imperfections. Some sticky tape like substance close to the corner that is stuck to the fiber and a little piece, maybe 3/4 inch that doesn't have any stitching on it. Otherwise I would buy this again!. Erica. *Edited to add that this rug is catnip. My cats who never usually pull their claws on rugs have already pulled out a handful of the gold strings and pulled up a spot on the blue... so that's fun for less than a day :\ Nice so far! I really wanted a soft thick rug that wasn't shag and landed on this because it was neutral but still has visual interest. The light blue and gold tan can fit into a lot of different styles. -- Lies flat immediately which is nice. (And it's cat approved!) Took 1 star bc it does have a lot of little threads even after vacuuming 2 times. The starburst design is also a different material that is thicker & slightly plasticy feeling, which takes away from the overall softness on your feet. Hopefully it holds up well!. Annabelle.
