It has a faux painted finish that gives it a rich, aged, antique feel, and it genuinely looks like beautiful, old woodwork. It is made from an extremely lightweight polyurethane material that seems as though it would make this product much easier and cheaper to install than actual wood crown molding. Unfortunately, this won’t work for the project that I had intended it for, but if you are making upgrades to your existing home or building a new home and would like to add some lovely old world elements, these crown moldings are a wonderful option!. This cutting board is exactly what I needed with the titanium on the other side so I can cut my meat and chicken and fish and it doesn’t stain the cutting board. You can see some of the cuts from the knife, but it’s not too bad. I don’t recommend putting the cutting board too close to the stove or putting anything on top of it when it comes out of the stove, cause it can melt the plastic around it. I also suggest when you’re done using the wood side, you wash it with light soapy water dry it and put a little bit of olive oil that will keep it looking brand new. This is a beautiful item.. I ordered the ceiling medallion in "primed" and plan to paint it to coordinate with the room. It arrived quickly and well packaged; my only complaint is that the hole in the middle isn't centered; fortunately, the canopy for the light fixture is large enough that it conceals that the hole is off-center. The ceiling medallion is much heavier than others I have purchased; I am sure it will require construction adhesive to keep it attached to the ceiling.
