Each closer is U.L. listed with a 1/2 hour fire rating. These closers operate in a pushing-closed manner, rather than in a pulling-closed method, and they do not have a hold open feature. Distance of travel: The closer arm of this safety spring closer has the ability to swing a full 180 degrees, but once it is mounted in place, the door’s distance of swing will be reduced to the point of where it makes contact with the bullet-shaped housing of the closer. All fasteners and installation instructions are included with this item. For lubrication, avoid using WD-40 which actually breaks down lubricating grease. Instead, apply white lithium grease to internal compressing springs if desired or necessary. Other colors/finishes include: Black, brown, chrome plated and satin chrome plated. For a rust and weather resistant closure, consider model numbers KC50HD (white) and KC57US (brown) which are suitable for outdoor/exterior use, designed for use with lightweight gates and screen doors. This ADA compliant slide latch is constructed of stamped stainless steel and comes in a satin finish. It is a surface-mounted latch that is designed for use on 1 in. thick swing-in partition doors, and it comes complete with an "occupied" indicator and a matching stainless steel keeper. The exterior indicator has a dial-type internal mechanism that announces a locked door (or an occupied stall) with red color when the lock is engaged. When the slide lock is in the unlocked position, the dial indicator reveals a green color, or unoccupied state, announcing its availability for use. It is a surface-mounted Bobrick-style latch that is designed for use on swing-in partition doors, and it comes complete with a matching keeper and stainless steel fasteners. This latch mounts over a durable, black plastic base with its mounting holes spaced apart. This restroom stall slide latch also features a tension adjustment clip that is embedded within the black plastic mounting plate, concealed beneath the stainless steel surface of the lock. The tension clip can be adjusted to create or reduce resistance between the plastic insert and the metal housing. Setting the amount of force needed to slide the latch from left to right is as easy as bending the clip away from the plastic base to increase the tension, and bending it towards the plastic base to decrease tension.
