My two kitties love their new space! We have two 9 months old kitties that we rescued when they were 3 12 weeks old. They are indoor cats but we wanted to give them a safe sanctuary when are not home. I put the structure together myself and it probably would have gone quicker if I had help but I took my time and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. I added mesh wiring instead. The enclosure is 3 sided and backs up to the wall which works perfectly fine in our case as it gives us access to open and close our windows and shutters.. Arb65. Ca-usa. Love it! It is a perfect size for our adopted u2. He has been living on his small cagetop (from his previous home) since we adopted him. He wouldnt go inside, so he remained in the quarantine room. We finally earned his trust, so we got him his castle to join the flock. My husband was busy, so I put it together alone. I used the top pieces to support it, so that I could get the bolts in. The sturdy base has pre-mounted rolling casters and measures 39 3/4’’ long and 22 7/8’’ wide. The placement of trees within the base may vary.
