This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. The reason for 4 stars is because when it was delivered they did not remove the packaging or the pallet it was on. I assumed since I paid to have it delivered to my room of choice that they would unpack it for me, but they did not. Luckily my husband and I, with the help of my brother-in-law, were able to get it off of the pallet and remove all of the packaging. If I lived alone, though, I would have had to hire someone to help me or try to bribe the delivery guys, I guess. Also I wish the shelves had a tiny bit more space between them, as it’s kind of a tight fit for some of the bottles.
