The directions are awful, there's a youtube video that shows a guy setting up a similar gate, his is French door style but the set up is very similar so it was helpful because we were totally lost trying to figure it out. Anyway its perfect for our needs. We needed to keeo 3 if our cats separate from one cat. They can slip through sometimes by messing with the side pole to move it over just enough to slip through but still this is a good enough solution for us. Using it as a standard vacuum is great for cleaning the girls room. The LED light on it is a nice eye opener for any mess on carpet or hardwood flooring. It does a great job tackling snack messes and cat food messes. Using the lift-off pod was a nice perk when vacuuming the couches and getting rid of unwanted cat hair from furniture and pillows. I love that the crevice tool also has a light and it makes detailing so much easier and thorough. Overall it was a great tool to have when cleaning on the regular.
