kit# 2 luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut, and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skill saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Loctite power grab ultimate adhesive or boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

It looks nice but the setup for the main bar is iffy. All the weight is taken by two small discs screws tot he side walls, and you will need to glue these as well as screw them otherwise they spin when you try to screw the adjoining pieces to them. I received the shower door in under 4 days and the install went smoothly except when it came to adjusting the gap between the door and wall. The adjustment tool was missing from the toolkit and chatted with Wayfair customer service to have that mailed to me. But after a week I had to call in my contractor to get that adjusted with their tools. Wayfair customer service called me to offer a nice credit to compensate for the missing piece.
