This is very well made and strong. I was very happy with this post and I purchased the Ambrose mailbox from Wayfair also. I liked that the top of the post was closer to the mailbox. I am not fond of the post being 6-10 inches about the mailbox it looks a little off and dated. The post and mailbox are well made and were delivered with no damage. My husband installed the post over an existing 4X4 wooden post from a previous post. I just wish the mailbox was larger.
