so far it is keeping cold. the freezer space is cut down with the extra ice maker,if i leave it off and use the extra room, i am in fear that the ice may not start working again. i really like it,but it might not start working if it is left off to long. so i have been informed by LG. WE have not had it for long, but love the hot water and Keurig feature. Leaves countertops empty of a coffee maker. Great for single brew cups and hot tea. Also great when baking as you can measure the water out if called for in recipes. Love the compartments in frig. And space in the freezer.
