This set are amazing they heat up even and quickly on my induction stove. Love the weight and the clean up is nice. Just make sure to let the pans cool down before cleaning . This arrived well-packed in the manufacturer's box and was new, arrived ahead of schedule. The 5.5 quart size was the size I was looking for things like chili, stews, soups, etc. I needed to buy new because I moved to a home with an induction cooktop. This is an expensive investment but after all the research (Reddit was the best source) I wanted guaranteed reliability and longevity. I measured my old large pot and this one correlated close. I personally think the largest size, the 8.9 would be too big for my daily use. The largest size would be cooking for very large numbers, boiling a lot of corn on the cob, and if you are canning food (back in the day my grandmother and mom did.). Robin. Tega Cay, SC.
