Great knife set! Really happy with the purchase. We are trying very hard not to put them in the dishwasher but occasionally one gets by us and our kids do it, however the knives have held up! The scissors are a great extra. The other thing I love not only about the knives but the block they rest in doesn’t take up much counter space and the color is beautiful. This is a very small pan, which is exactly what I wanted. My go to pan was Farberware, and it is over 20 years old, horrible condition as it will not even fry an egg without sticking now. We are great cooks in this house and somehow we can still make our old pans work. BUT....This Viking pan is next level amazing. I see why its so expensive. It is heavy like a cast iron pan and I love love love that!! I cooked an egg in it without using any oil. Now I am obsessing and want a whole set. I just have to figure out a way to explain to my husband why we need 600 pots and pans lol. Maybe I can compare my pots and pans to some of those high end tools he has in the garage lol. We've had this for about a year now and I have no complaints. If I could do it again, I would just get the basic version without the ledge for the accessories. We almost never use these accessories and the ledge is just something else to be cleaned. It's awkward to use the cutting board because the sink is undermounted to 2cm stone. The knife handle hits the stone when trying to cut on the cutting board. The drying rack could be nice, but it's not big enough for us and we have a dedicated drying rack.. Anonymous.
