They look gorgeous in my home! My one suggestion is, the pattern is the same on all the beams, so if I were to do it again, I would have the pattern going one way for the first beam and the opposite way for the second beam. This product is ok. It's a little tough to work with, not very flexible and comes wrapped in a coil, like a snake. You have to let it soften up and unwind it before you can work with it. Use your hands to get it to conform to the wood planks. I used drywall screws to hold it in place. Since it was in the ceiling you can't see the screws. I don't think that glue would have worked, too much resistance. It's really expensive for what it actually is, which is a strip of rubber with knobs on it, but it does the job of hiding the seams in my wood ceiling beams and pretending to be wrought iron straps.. Well the product itself is okay-ish. It looks decent for fake wood look and the pattern doesn’t repeat in the box of six planks. It fits together perfectly and with ease. There is a slight strip of discoloration along the edges on some planks. The color is a very muted unsaturated brown. One plank was damaged in shipping right in the middle of the also the bigger issue is that the rest of the boxes I ordered to complete the project are back ordered for six months.
