The cream is more of a light grey, but pretty true to the picture! They arrived well packaged and in tact. The grill seems like it will definitely be what we are looking for. We did read reviews and they were favorable for this brand and model. Bought this several months ago. Although I sent the link with specs and installation instructions to the builder's subcontractor, he installed the grill on wood supports which is combustible. Of course, the builder blamed us for not buying via his subcontractor (which would have been much more expensive). After the subcontractor made a steel box with cement board to address the combustion issue, we discover he didn't allow room to pull the grease pans out.
