This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. You will love the multiple sizes you can choose for the size pot or pan. It boils water fairly quickly. I like that you have to long press the buttons to turn on the elements so children wouldn’t accidentally turn on an element. Installation is CONFUSING (lots of stupid little diagrams rather than words). Once you get past that, it works well and looks nice. As others have mentioned, the volume controls for each function do not do very much. You can barely tell the difference between fully turned on and fully turned down.
