I have two senior dogs and it gets cold here in the Northeast. The cover on this pet heating pad is so soft and it is removable and can be machine washed. There is a timer setting and the temperature range is from 61-69. The instructions say different temperatures but the ones I mentioned are the ones on the remote. I do like that the cord is protected with a casing around it, my dogs are not chewers but this is a nice feature for the ones that are. I have two smaller dogs so they both fit on this pad. I bought the 6-step ramp because we have a very high bed, and we wanted our dog to get used to using this before he gets to a point when jumping up and down will be difficult. This is the Extra Extra Large size It’s very secure once assembled with the bolts and wingnuts, and clamps, that enclose the perimeter of the crate. The wheels were not allowed while traveling but were handy once the crate was disassembled to make it easier to move around. Improvements: - The area where the wheels attach got pretty beat up, would be nice if there was something else to put on top while not using the wheels. - the handles on top are plastic, and although they should be used just to move the top of the crate, one was missing when I returned back to Texas.
