This vent cover looks really nice in my newly renovated bathroom. It is quite stylish and complements the other gold fixtures in the room. My reason for only rating it 4 stars is that it was missing the vent mounting clips and instructions when it arrived. While Wayfair sent the clips several days later, I feel it never should have been sent without them. The vent cover arrived quickly and in good condition. I like the modern, clean style and the screws are hidden. The installation instructions are clear and remind you multiple times to measure the opening and purchase the cover appropriate for the space. There is no wheel or mechanism to open and close the baffles. You use your fingers or a screwdriver which could be a pain if you are using it in a ceiling or other difficult to access area. I am very happy with this hood. The quality of build seems solid, installation instructions were very clear, and it I think it looks great. It takes some planning and work to get it installed. You have to make sure your ceiling joists and ductwork is going the right direction or be prepared to do some modifications. I have a soffit and had to take down a bunch of drywall to modify the framing, run the 14/3 romex for the light/fan and modify the ducting. Then I replaced the drywall, taped, texture, paint and installed the hood. Fortunately it all came together nicely. I was able to held the hood in place while my wife drive the screws into the framing. I think it will be worth it in the end because the hood won’t be blocking the view in front of our cooktop.. The Madelyn Carter Vintage Baseboard Registers are available in 2 Sizes: 15" x 12" and 13" x 12", 2.5" deep at the base and 1" at the top. Comes in two pieces (sold as one unit) a baseboard frame and register insert (with damper). Simply mount the frame to your wall using the provided 3" screws and then install the insert with damper using the two 1/2" screws.
