This product has been a Godsend for my escape artist. We have a completely fenced back yard but he can dig or squirm through the tiniest opening. He has nearly gotten himself killed, and our other dog, who won’t leave the yard by himself, will tag along for the adventure. We have a full acre lot, so this system gives both my dogs plenty of room to enjoy the yard without escaping. So why not five stars? Because we have a lot of trees. When it’s overcast, or if our internet isn’t sending out its strongest signal, the collars don’t respond as well as they should. And there have been a couple of occasions where the collars randomly beeped and vibrated when they are nowhere near the digital fence line. Thankfully, both our guys have learned the boundaries and when they are wearing the collars, they now know not to go too close to the fence and have not escaped. Works great! My cat absolutely loves it and took to it in a day. We both appreciate that she doesn’t need my help any more getting out, as raising the window was a hassle. Well I only gave a 4 star, due to its lack of ability to recall if needed. It's still a little chunky around a Dachshunds neck, but my Thor at 8 months old didn't seem to mind it. We installed the PetSafe invisible fence system 2 years ago. The directions were easy to follow and It was easy to install. We trained our cat on this invisible fence and we haven't had him leave the premises since. With this system he gets to run around and play in a large area (about an acre), but stays within the boundaries we set for him. When we got our puppy, we purchased an additional collar and we trained him on it as well. He also stays withing the set perimeter.
