I bought this bed as a Christmas present for my mums senior kitty who is always cold, we’ve noticed her huddling up to lamps and Christmas lights and anything that gives off the tiniest bit of heat so a heated bed seemed like a great idea and it was worth every penny! We have never seen such a blissed out cat (her sister uses it too, so TWO blissed out kitties!) She knew it was for her and hasn’t left it since we set it up, except to eat and crawls right back into it. It’s obvious she LOVES it and we couldn’t be happier, I swear, she’s even smiling! The quality is amazing and it’s WAY bigger than I expected but it’s perfect, her and her sister fit in it together or she loved being wrapped up with a blanket in there. I’m so tempted to buy another one for my cat now, I am extremely happy with it! We haven’t used the cooling setting much yet, the fan noise does make them give it a funny look the minute or two we’ve turned it on trying to get it to the heat setting but it’s quiet enough I’m sure they’ll get used to it and love it in the summer. I have two senior dogs and it gets cold here in the Northeast. The cover on this pet heating pad is so soft and it is removable and can be machine washed. There is a timer setting and the temperature range is from 61-69. The instructions say different temperatures but the ones I mentioned are the ones on the remote. I do like that the cord is protected with a casing around it, my dogs are not chewers but this is a nice feature for the ones that are. I have two smaller dogs so they both fit on this pad.
