Im somewhere between 4 and 5 on this. The packaging is horrible so many parts were damaged. Wayfair gets a 5 out of 5 for getting replacements ordered for me quickly. The replacements were packed just as poorly so some got damaged as well but they sent extras so it was not a problem. Sent from the manufacturer so none of that is Wayfairs fault. Instructions were just okay. Not always super clear. Some bolts really wanted to cross thread. Im happy with the look and function. Its not going to keep every drop of water out in a storm but itll do an adequate job. It could be a little sturdier but I dont think you can find better for the price. Im telling everyone about Wayfair customer service. I expected to have to contact the manufacturer myself and be lucky to get a response. The shipment packaging is extremely well done and even though there was damage to the boxes, the product was sufficiently protected had no damage due to shipping. The 12x20 pergola I ordered is close to 1000 pounds shipping in 7 boxes so the heaviest single box is about 150 lbs so two people are needed to move it around. The instructions recommended 4 people for the install. I had my brother to help but due to the weight I wanted 6 people (one at each post) to move the assembled product to minimize damage to the frame. High quality parts all around but because it’s all aluminum that is great for lower weight but it is still 1/2 ton of weight that needs to be moved around during an installation.
