My two kitties love their new space! We have two 9 months old kitties that we rescued when they were 3 12 weeks old. They are indoor cats but we wanted to give them a safe sanctuary when are not home. I put the structure together myself and it probably would have gone quicker if I had help but I took my time and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. The paper instructions were fine, but I think a short video guide would make the setup process a lot easier for people who aren’t as handy. The price was very reasonable compared to similar options I saw on other websites, especially considering the quality and the way it looks once installed. We love this dog house. We have a 110 pound German shepherd who prefers being outside. I never grew up with an outdoor dog so I was extremely hesitant to move him full time to our backyard, but this dog house made it an easier choice. He’s super happy and so are we. One thing to note is the installation is very tricky. We thought we could do it ourselves but we ended up paying someone 700 to build it for us.
