I hadnt realized until after installed, is get a size that will fit inside rather than aboveoutside of the window frame just as you would if getting basic blinds. Theyre actually a really good product for any room in your home. Instead of dealing with old fashion blinds and curtains, these are the best of both in one, easy to install and use product. Not bad! Looks just like the photo in the description. Measured 100 times before I ordered. There is more of a gap towards the bottom right than top. At the top, both sides start at about 34” gap. At the bottom, the right gap ends up being about 1 ¼” and the left about ½”. Mounting was easy as I had slatted blinds, so I just popped those off and replaced the brackets for the new ones - a quick Google search and YouTube video helped. Took about 30 minutes by myself.. These were not hard to install, I watched a video. I really recommend a video, it makes the directions make sense. Getting it level is the hard part. Drilling the screws in was probably the harder part. The shades came the exact size I measured, kudos to the person who cuts them to size.
